The Last Days Of Fall

 We've been making alterations to the gator and kicked it up a few notches.

Trick or Treat

The fun we have trick or treating with Amy and family. Grandma Hawk once again outdid herself with the costumes she made and Jonas and Stella rocked out their dragon and cat attire. Jonas wanted a dragon costume from the first time I asked what he wanted to be until the last. I'm not sure where he got the idea but he had fun roaring and blowing out fire all night.

Pumpkins Galore

Kerby Farm Field Trip

We had a fun trip to Kerby Farm with the preschool. I walked my first ever corn maze and although the pirates tried to sabotage us we made it through successfully with Jonas' friend William. We love our preschool and it was nice to have a chance to socialize with all the other families.

Everyday

Leaves Galore

It's that time of year where the front yard fills up and we have to haul the leaves out of the yard. We worked as a family and got the job done in record time...Stella said it was because she was the boss and kept us moving. I know it's a lot of work but I always have fun playing in the piles.

It Was A BIG Pumpkin Patch

We made the pumpkin patch an all day affair again this year. We went to our favorite patch just outside of Lawrence and then stopped at an organic market/pumpkin patch on the way home. We had a pleasant surprise when my nephew and his family showed up just before we were ready to head out to select our pumpkins. Jonas idolizes Billy so it couldn't have been a better day for him and Stella had fun getting her feet dirty for the first time.
