Swim Lessons

Swim lessons were  the highlight of Jonas' summer again. He really would love it if we had a pool and he could go swimming every day but them again it would have to be a "BIG" pool. Next year I will have Stella and him to contend with and she is very much a water baby like her brother so I see a lot of pool time in our future.

We had an unexpected surprise from Jeff with a mid week trip to Kauffman Stadium to enjoy the Royals and for an added bonus it was free t-shirt night. I hope Jeff realized how much I appreciated the game. Some of my fondest memories as a kid involved going to watch the Royals and I want Jonas and Stella to have those experiences as well so thanks again Jeff. It was really hot but the game was a good one and the memories even better. One of the funniest moments was when Tracy was hit in the back by a hot dog that was being throw into the crowd. She was being a good mom and taking care of Jonas who had fallen in his seat when the incident happened so we shouldn't have laughed but I know I did. The kids were on a mission to find the ultimate snow cone but we had a very evasive vendor and they had resort to finding their own. Stella enjoyed her first taste and didn't want to let go of the cool treat.
