Good Times

First thing this morning Jonas and momma went to her doctor's appointment and everything was great until they went to leave and the elevator was out. Em thought about base jumping to the ground floor using her emergency parachute, but decided that it might do more damage to her back since she had the stroller to jump with also. So she opted to feed Jonas until the elevator was fixed. Momma said the rest of the day Jonas spent smiling at everything. This evening was so nice out I couldn't pass up the chance to finally wash my truck. It's been killing me that it's so dirty. Jonas begged momma to take him outside so he could help me wash my truck, and momma fell for his sneaky moves (see photos below). Jonas was inspired by the Olympics being held in China that he asked me to read some versus of Tao Te Ching to him. He seemed amused for a while, but I think it's just because he liked the pictures! Oh...and Jonas was so impressed with the men's freestyle relay win last night he wanted to show everyone his Michael Phelps impersonation. We didn't have the heart to tell him that his muscles weren't quite as defined as Phelps, but hey...he has years to work on it, right! Tonight he couldn't stay awake tonight to see how the men's gymnastic team finished. Jonas waited until momma turned her head to..... ....try and spray her. (see the smile one his face) Phelps ...or not?
